Avis Southern Africa has no problem when it comes to defining its brand and hooking its consumer, thanks to Wideopen Platform's massive 520m˛ hoarding situated at Cape Town International Airport.

Strategically positioned to focus on consumers arriving at the point of sale, the colossal Avis hoarding promotes the leading car rental company's array of products and services including car, van and truck rentals; luxury cars; chauffeur driven and point-to-point transfers.

"Launched in December and continuing through February, Avis was extraordinarily clever choosing this time frame for its campaign. People are tired at the end of the year and many prefer to fly to their favourite holiday destination. It's practically impossible for the rental car market to miss this ad. Produced by the Media Foundry, Wideopen Platform has ensured that it runs right next to the airport road. "It sports the creative, 'Southern Africa's leading transportation solution ... try us!' slogan, written in bold white on a vibrant red background, ensuring that the message is easy to absorb," adds Cohen.

"With an advert of this proportion, there's no doubt that Avis will be top of mind when it comes to transport solutions," concludes Cohen.
