Afrox the largest gases and welding products supplier in South Africa and one of the country’s most trusted brands, chose ComutaNet to launch it’s winter awareness campaign.

The brief required ComutaNet to brand 22 buses in three days, which would under normal circumstances take over a week to complete. After pooling its resources ComutaNet had the job professionally wrapped up in time for the campaign which ran from the 7th of April to the 12th of May in Gauteng. In total, the company’s team of experts closed off the job in 2 and one half days after receiving the brief and creative elements.

Bus advertising penetrates the urban, rural, semi-urban areas and allows for specific geographical targeting, in this case Gauteng. The branding of the entire back of a bus provides high levels of exposure and allows exciting creative design with reduced production costs. A single bus generates 500 000 impacts per month- considering exposure and turnaround time, it is a very attractive form of alternative outdoor advertising

Kevin Munro, Marketing Manager for Afrox explains, “The buses visually turned out great and as a moving billboard. I'm very pleased we made the decision to use this mode of transport to support our current campaign. I'd like to use this opportunity to thank the team at ComutaNet for the extremely prompt execution of their involvement in finalising the graphic material specs and application onto the buses on the routes we wanted within our very tight time lines.”

“Our campaign has received great complements from many quarters and we’re confident we will achieve our objective over the next few weeks,” concludes Munro.
