Briefed to promote awareness of the opening and to drive feet through the newly opened doors of JetMart's stores in Brits and Port Elizabeth, specialist agency MediaEdge CIA grabbed the opportunity to advertise JetMart's creative utilising the advertising frames inside PRIMEDIA@HOME's Community Chat containers.
Running from June to the end of July, the campaign has been positioned in sites that are strategically positioned within close proximity to each new store. Melvin Chagonda, PRIMEDIA@HOME's Chief Executive Officer explains, "The selected containers offer a cost effective, high exposure platform within close proximity to the two new stores, effectively targeting hundreds of visitors who utilise the Community Chat containers daily to make telephone calls."
Maximising the average two minutes that each caller spends on a call, the informative JetMart creative was displayed at eye-level above each call booth, ensuring the details regarding the added benefits of the stores such as DIY, appliances, and great fashion are scanned repeatedly.
"The Community Chat containers give exceptional exposure to our clients' products due to high volume footfall," Chagonda adds. The Community Chat Billboard platform is collaborative initiative between PRIMEDIA@HOME and Cell C, who discovered a unique marketing and advertising opportunity in the township environment.
