Nedbank Card selected the Johannesburg Zoo as the venue and contracted PRIMEDIA@HOME to cater for 600 of its employees.

PRIMEDIA@HOME arranged for the venue to carry the client's branding, for suitable employee gifts, refreshment vouchers and meals for everyone, freeing up the management team to enjoy the day with their colleagues.

"The Zoo is a fantastic venue for many occasions, especially when the celebrations are for large numbers of people. We believe it is essential to be well prepared beforehand, for the logistics to be completed before the first guests arrive. To ensure this, our team was at the venue adding direction markers, Nedbank Card branding and generally setting the scene at dawn. Throughout the Zoo, Nedbank Card presence was visible and ensured that everyone knew this was their occasion to celebrate some real successes," says Melvin Chagonda, PRIMEDIA@HOME's Chief Executive Officer.

As each guest arrived, their welcome included an umbrella for rain or shine, a map of the zoo and a picnic mat. "Strains of selected music played by a professional DJ accompanied guests' explorations of the animals on view. All in all, Johannesburg Zoo made for a most relaxing venue to unwind, a key objective set by Nedbank Card," Chagonda concludes.
